WALWORTH FIRE DISTRICT NO. 1
NOTICE OF
ANNUAL ELECTION
DECEMBER 10, 2024

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of Officers in the Walworth Fire District No. 1 situated in the Town of Walworth, Wayne County, New York, will be held on the 10th day of December, 2024 to elect one (1) Commissioner position with a term of five (5) years; term to commence on January 1, 2025. All District Officers must be resident electors in the Walworth Fire District No. 1 at the time of his/her election as well as throughout the term of his/her office.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that such election will be held at the Walworth Fire Hall located at 2178 Church Street, in the Town of Walworth, New York, on the 10th day of December, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., prevailing time, during which time the polls will remain open for the receipt of ballots. All duly registered residents of the Walworth Fire District No. 1 are eligible to vote at this election.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that letters of intent to seek elected office must be filed with the Secretary of the Fire District at least twenty (20) days prior to December 10, 2024, to wit: on or before November 20, 2024. Letters of intent to seek elected office may be mailed to the District Secretary at the following address: Walworth Fire District No. 1, Box 179, Walworth, New York 14568. (Letters sent by mail must arrive by November 20, 2024.)
