The Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Macedon held May 26, 2016 at the Town Complex, 32 Main Street, in the Town of Macedon was called to order by Supervisor Sandy Pagano at 7:30 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 109 (2016) APPROVAL OF MINTUES

RESOLVED the Board approves the minutes from the April 28, 2016 (Regular meeting) and the May 12, 2016 (Regular meeting).

RESOLUTION NO. 110 (2016) INTERMUNICIPAL AGREEMENT – TOWN HIGHWAY DUMP TRUCK

BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board hereby approves and authorizes the Town Supervisor to execute the Intermunicipal Agreement with the Village of Macedon authorizing the Town Highway Department to permit the Village to use a Town dump truck to haul materials within the Village.

RESOLVED the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to sign the police agreement between the Town of Macedon and the Macedon Police Association effective January 1, 2016 – December 31, 2020.

RESOLUTION NO. 113 (2016) REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Town Board of the Town of Macedon is hereby requesting proposals for a duly qualified grant writer to identify, draft, and submit applications, on behalf of the Town, for New York State Citizen’s Reorganization Empowerment Grants (“CREG”) and any additional grants that may be available to the Town relative to the Village dissolution process, and to advise the Town Board relative thereto.

Interested parties shall send all documentation in support of their proposal to:

RESOLVED the Board enter Executive Session at 8:17 p.m. to discuss litigation.

RESOLUTION NO. 116 (2016) OPEN SESSION

RESOLVED the Board returns to Open Session at 8:46 p.m.

Entered into Joint meeting with the Village of Macedon Board at 8:48pm

Christopher Grant from Department of State, Division of Local Government gave a presentation regarding proceeding with the dissolution process and what funds would be available to the Town of Macedon and the Village of Macedon. Mr. Grant informed the Boards that the Town of Macedon and the Village of Macedon will need to apply separately for grants from the State.
