The Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Macedon held February 27, 2014 at the Town Complex, 32 Main Street, in the Village of Macedon and 16246 Citrus Parkway, Clermont, FL. was called to order by Supervisor William H. Hammond at 7:30 p.m.

RESOLVED the Board approves the minutes of February 13, 2014 as presented.

CORRESPONDENCE – The Supervisor presented the following:

Wayne County Board of Elections notification of Macedon Village Election to be held March 18, 2014 at the Village of Macedon Fire Department from 12 Noon to 9 PM.

 

Letter from Walworth Sewer Department notifying us about high RG&E Electric bills that they have received.

 

Councilperson Kenyon entered the meeting at 7:45 p.m.

 

John McMenamin from New Yorker’s for Property Rights gave a presentation on Agenda 21

regarding Washington’s ‘Fair Housing’ Assault on Local Zoning.  More information is available at www.democratsagainstUNAgenda21.com.

 

RESOLUTION NO. 81 (2014) FOUR POINTS LAND DEVELOPMENT – WAYNEPORT ROAD

BE IT RESOLVED the Town Board approves the overall preliminary plan for Four Points Land Development – design plan as submitted dated December 2013.

RESOLUTION NO. 82 (2014) ASSESSMENT MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

RESOLVED the Town of Macedon agrees to engage in a 2015 reassessment project and hereby authorizes the Supervisor to sign the upcoming ORPS Memorandum of Understanding.

RESOLUTION NO. 83 (2014) RESIGNATION FIRE MARSHALL – HAMMOND (RESOLUTION NO. 28 (2014) AMENDED

RESOLVED the Town Board amend Resolution No. 28 (2014) to read

RESOLUTION NO. 28 (2014) RESIGNATION FIRE MARSHALL - HAMMOND

RESOLVED the Town Board regretfully accepts the resignation of Ken Hammond as Fire Marshall effective February 15, 2014 and be it further

 

RESOLVED the Town Clerk is authorized to advertise for the position.

BE IT RESOLVED that Adam Stephens be sponsored to the next Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Basic Police Academy effective 2/24/2014 at $16.00/hour.

RESOLUTION NO. 86 (2014) WASTE MANAGEMENT INTERMODAL RAIL SPUR – DRAINAGE MODIFICATION SEQRA DETERMINATION

RESOLVED the Town Board issues a Negative Declaration pursuant to SEQRA relative to the Waste Management proposal to install a stormwater discharge pipe to the Erie Canal.

RESOLUTION NO. 87 (2014) WASTE MANAGEMENT INTERMODIAL RAIL SPUR – APPROVAL OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT AMENDED WORK SCOPE – DRAINAGE MODIFICATION

RESOLVED the Town Board approves the amended Special Use Permit for the Intermodal Rail Project to include the incorporation of a new stormwater conveyance system to the Erie Canal
