A Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Macedon held May 10, 2012 at the Town Offices, 32 Main Street in the Village of Macedon was called to order by Supervisor William Hammond at 7:30 p.m.

CORRESPONDENCE – The Supervisor presented the following:

Town of Walworth has scheduled a public hearing on June 21, 2012 at 7:45 p.m. to consider adoption of LL 4 amending chapter 180 entitled “Zoning” of the Tow of Walworth municipal code more particularly amending Section 180-14B Districts: General Business/Professional Office/Office Research/Research Park/High Density Residential.

 

Councilman Kenyon entered the meeting at 7:34 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 121 (2012) MACEDON AMBULANCE PT EMPLOYEES APPOINTED

RESOLVED the following be appointed as part-time Macedon Ambulance employees:

RESOLUTION NO. 122 (2012) LAWN CARE – COUNTRY GREEN

RESOLVED the Board approves the contract with Country Green Lawn Care and Landscaping in the amount of $1,300 for the Public Safety Building and Town Hall.

Memorial Day Celebrations will be held in Macedon Center.

 

Bob Taylor requested the Board consider purchasing Pickleball Equipment to be included as a Recreation Program.  Pickleball is a racquet sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis.

RESOLVED the Recreation Director be authorized to purchase Pickleball Equipment not to exceed $300.
