A Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Macedon held May 8, 2008 at the Town Offices, 32 Main Street in the Village of Macedon, was called to order by Supervisor William Hammond at 7:30 P.M.

RESOLUTION NO. 123 (08)ASSESSOR CLERK APPOINTMENT -                      REINHARDT

BE IT RESOLVED that the Macedon Town Board, after canvassing the current Civil Service List of Eligible Macedon Senior Clerk Typists, appoints Jo Ann Reinhardt as Clerk to the Assessor at an annual salary of $22,000 effective May 5, 2008.

RESOLUTION NO.124 (08) LAKE ONTARIO WINE TRAIL

WHEREAS New York State has an identified trail known as the Lake Ontario Wine Trail that extends from Adams Center, New York and ends on Route 104 at Route 414 in Wayne County, and

 

WHEREAS a request has been received from Young Sommer Winery to extend the Lake Ontario Wine Trail from Route 414 along the Route 104 corridor to the Wayne\Monroe County Line

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town of Macedon supports the request for the extension of said trail and that the Town Clerk is authorized to send a certified resolution to be presented in Albany in support of further action.

RESOLVE the Town Board extends SUP for Smith Mining to 8-31-2008

Pending his application to NYS DEC be approved.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board authorize Richard Roets, Highway Superintendent, to consider the following Highway Equipment as surplus. This equipment will be sold at Auction.

4. 1977 JD 450C Dozer

RESOLUTION NO. 127 (08) PUBLIC HEARING SET - CODE VIOLATION

                                                 457 WILKINSON ROAD

RESOLVE that the report from the building inspector on May 8TH be accepted and schedule a  public hearing  on complaint for May 22, 2008 at 8:00 P.M. notice  of  violation and hearing be served on property owner of 457 Wilkinson Road.

RESOLVE the Supervisor is authorized to sign work authorization for Clough Harbor Project Wayneport Rd and Cedar Creek sewage pump pending Town Attorney and Town Engineer approval.
