A Regular Meeting of the Town
Board of the Town of Macedon held February 28, 2008 at the Town Offices, 32
Main Street in the Village of Macedon, was called to order by Supervisor
William Hammond at 7:30 P.M.

RESOLVED the Board approves the minutes of January 24, 2008 with the following amendments:
Resolution No. 60 (08) to read as follows:
effective March 1, 2008 and
Resolution No. 61 (08) to read as follows:
effective March 1, 2008.

RESOLVED the Board approves the minutes of February 14, 2008 with the following amendment:
On the recommendation of the Officer In Charge, BE IT RESOLVED that William Powell be appointed Part-Time Police Officer effective February 9, 2008 hours not to exceed 19.5 hours/week at a rate of $16/hour.

RESOLVED the Macedon Town Board void Claim #16794 approved 2/14/2008 to John Deere Credit in the amount of $23,293.37 due to a decrease in the interest rate of the lease, and be it further
RESOLVED the Macedon Town Board awards the Highway Track Bulldozer bid to the lowest responsible bidder, Five Star Equipment Inc., for the lease bid amount of $22,922.88/year for a period of 5 years, total bid price of $105,481.00 and authorize the Supervisor to pay said lease amount of $22,922.88 charged to SD8540.400 and amends Resolution No. 55 (08) to reflect said amounts.

RESOLVED the Town Board revise the Fee Schedule to include the following:
Permit fee for installation
of standby or backup emergency generators $30.00

RESOLVED the Town Board declare the Court Copier, XEROX XD155, serial number FM5002420, surplus equipment and authorize the Supervisor to dispose of it properly.

It was the consensus of the Board to allow the Friends of the Library to include fundraising material in the Town newsletter.
A passport clinic will be held in Macedon on May 28, 2008 from 6-7:30 PM. Other dates and locations will be on the web site.
The Town Board answered questions submitted by ONE MACEDON Committee and Village residents relating to the Village Dissolution issue.
RESOLVED the Town Board enters Executive Session at
9:30 p.m. to discuss litigation.

RESOLVED the Town Board return to Open Session at
