A Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Macedon held February 23, 2006 at the Town Offices, 32 Main Street in the Village of Macedon, was called to order by Supervisor William Hammond at 7:30 P.M.

 

Pledge of Allegiance

 

Upon Roll Call, the following members of the Board were present:

Boy Scout Troop 166 led the Pledge of Allegiance.  The Troop met with Supervisor Hammond prior to the meeting to complete a badge requirement.

 

RESOLUTION NO. 67 (06) APPROVAL OF MINUTES

RESOLVED the Board approves the minutes of February 9, 2006 with the following correction:  Page 3 should read “due to DOT not

It was the consensus of the Board to allow the Friends of the Macedon Public Library to include a fund raising envelope in the Macedon Messenger.

 

RESOLUTION NO. 68 (06) GRAVINO – SEWER GPS CONSULTANT

RESOLVED the Board appoint John Gravino as Sewer GPS Consultant at $12.50 per hour to be expensed from SS1 8110.100 and

 

BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Accountant be authorized to make any necessary budget adjustments.

RESOLUTION NO. 69 (06) MAGOG ROAD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT MOU

RESOLVED the Board approves the Magog Road Drainage Improvement Project Memorandum of Understanding for drainage improvement project services between the Town of Macedon and the Soil and Water Conservation District of Wayne County and further authorizes the Supervisor to sign said MOU.

It was the consensus of the Board to accept the donation of a tree in memory of an individual, which will be planted in Bullis Park.  Dave Maul will consult Norb Miller and Dick Roets.

 

The mowing bids will be discussed at the next meeting.

Bob Murphy was present to request the rezoning of 53.17 acres of land located near the northwest corner of North Wayneport Road and NYS Route 31 from ORM (Office Research and Manufacturing) to GC (General Commercial).

RESOLVED the Town Board grants the Special Use Permit to Roger Morrison to operate a small business at 2062 Magog Road.

Jim Beckenbach commended Officer Farabell and feels the Town should recognize him.
