A Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Macedon held December 22, 2005 at the Town Offices, 32 Main Street in the Village of Macedon, was called to order by Supervisor William Hammond at 11:30 P.M.

RESOLUTION NO. 37 (05) REAFFIRM RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT AND CONCURRENCE WITH THE WAYNE COUNTY EMPIRE ZONE REVISION

APPLICAATION

WHEREAS, the New York State has created the Empire Zone program to encourage industrial and commercial development in selected areas across the State, and

WHEREAS, Wayne County, as an eligible municipality, received designation of an Empire Zone made up of sub-zones including portions of the Village of Newark

WHEREAS, under the current designations, Wayne County has the ability to amend the Zone boundaries to allow additional acreage, and

WHEREAS, Wayne County intends to revise the Wayne County Empire Zone boundaries to encourage industrial and commercial development and allow for the creation of an additional sub-zone in the Town of Macedon (detailed in attached legal description Schedule B – Town of Macedon – Wayne County 4th Boundary Amendment), and

WHEREAS, the Town of Macedon is committed to the development of new business within the proposed sub-zone, and

WHEREAS, the Town of Macedon wishes to support and concur with the Empire Zone revision application,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Town of Macedon Board, in its capacity as governing body of the Town of Macedon, does hereby support and concur with the Wayne County Empire Zone revision application.

RESOLUTION NO. 338 (05) RESOLUTION SUPPORTING & CONCURRING IN

WAYNE COUNTY APPLICATION FOR DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN WAYNE COUNTY AS AN EMPIRE ZONE

WHEREAS, Section 961 of Article 18-B of the General Municipal Law authorizes application by Wayne County for designation of certain areas as an Empire Zone within the meaning of said statute; and

WHEREAS, such designation could greatly benefit Wayne County in that new businesses would be encouraged to locate in the zone area, existing businesses would be encouraged to expand in the zone area and new and expanded businesses would generate new jobs for Wayne County residents; and

WHEREAS, the Wayne County Board of Supervisors wishes to designate certain areas within the Wayne County as part of the proposed Empire Zone; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Macedon is desirous of working with Wayne County through the Empire Zone Program to provide enhanced job opportunities for it residents; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Board of the Town of Macedon, New York, that it fully supports and concurs in the submission of an application by Wayne County for the designation of certain areas as an Empire Zone.

RESOLUTION NO. 339 (05) HILLSIDE CHILDRENS CENTER P.H. SET

RESOLVE the Town Board set public hearing for Hillside Childrens Center,Town Board Meeting, January 12, 2006 at 8 P.M.

RESOLUTION NO. 340 (05) NEGATIVE DECLARATION/WEISCHADELL

PROPERTY

RESOLVE the Town declare Negative Declaration for seqra on Weischadell property.

Councilman Nawrocki informed the Board that he will not be at the January 26th Town Board Meeting due to a business trip.

MOTION BY NAWROCKI, SECONDED BY HAMMOND THAT THE MEETING BE ADJOURNED. The meeting adjourned at 12:10 P.M.
