The Town of Macedon Zoning Board of Appeals meeting was held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, 5:30 p.m., at the Town Complex, 32 Main Street, Macedon, NY. Present were Chairman Warren Jeffries and Board members Brian Frey, Deborah McEwen, and Mike Mosher. Also present were Town Councilman Sandy Pagano and Board Clerk Brandi Schutt. Absent were Ronald Santovito and Town Engineer/CEO Scott Allen.


Chairman Jeffries called the meeting to order at 5:38 p.m.




Z-03-18 Newcomb 337 Route 31 Area Variance Section 135-Schedule I & Section 135-183-A12 Front yard setback & parking location A motion was made by Mike Mosher, seconded by Deborah McEwen, to approve Area Variances Section 135 schedule 1 Front yard setback of 51 ft. and Section 135-183-A12 Allowing parking 6 ft. from the building.


The five factors were reviewed: There would be no undesirable change in the character of the neighborhood; benefit sought could not be achieved by another method; variance is not substantial; there would be no adverse impact on the physical or environmental conditions in the neighborhood; difficulty was self-created.


Roll Vote: Mosher yes; Frey yes; McEwen yes; Jeffries yes. Therefore, this variance was granted.


A motion was made by Brian Frey, seconded by Mike Mosher, to approve the resolution as written. All in favor (Santovito absent); motion carried.




A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Brian Frey, seconded by Mike Mosher. All in favor (Santovito absent); meeting adjourned at 5:50 p.m.
