A Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Macedon held June 9, 2011 at the Town Offices, 32 Main Street in the Village of Macedon, was called to order by Supervisor William Hammond at 7:30 P.M.

RESOLUTION NO. 114 (11) CANANDAIGUA ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT GEOTECHNICAL BORINGS – CME ASSOCIATES

RESOLVED the Town Board awards the Canandaigua Road culvert replacement geotechnical boring on the recommendations of the Town Engineer and Highway Superintendent to CME Associates in the amount of $2,200 and authorizes the Supervisor to sign said agreement.

RESOLUTION NO. 115 (11)OFFICE RECONFIGURATION QUOTES

RESOLVED the Town Board accepts the quote from Milkay Remodeling                              in the amount of $2,991.04 to reconfigure the office for the Clerk to the Supervisor and to allow access to the exit to be expensed from the building reserve fund.

RESOLUTION NO. 116 (2011) STATE SNOW & ICE AGREEMENT

RESOLVED the Town Board approves the NYS Indexed Lump Sum Snow & Ice Agreement Snow, Contract #D009827 with the extended period to expire June 30, 2013 as recommended by the Highway Superintendent.

RESOLUTION NO. 117 (11) POLICE PATROL VEHICLE DECLARED SURPLUS

BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board declares a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria Police Patrol Vehicle, with VIN #2FAHP71W24X100169, surplus.  The vehicle will be transferred to the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy for training use.  The Town Supervisor is further authorized to sign any documents relating to the vehicle transfer.

RESOLUTION NO. 118 (11) POLICE - VEHICLE SEIZURE SALE

BE IT RESOLVED that Chief of Police John Colella is authorized to advertise for sale of a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR, forfeited from a crime.  A reserve of $18,000 dollars will be set in the sale price.

Chief Colella will be attending executive level training on exploited children in Virginia from June 26-27 at no expense to the Town.

 

Waste Management will hold their annual open house and information fair on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.  The open house will be held at High Acres Landfill & Recycling Center, 425 Perinton Parkway, Fairport, New York.

 

Rochester Aero Modeling Society will be holding their annual Model Airplane Show on August 21 & 22 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. located at 2925 Macedon Center Road.  Food proceeds are donated to the Macedon Town Ambulance.  Parking and admission is free.

Code Enforcement Officer applications are due by June 24, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.

 

Waste Management received their DEC permit modification for area in Perinton.
