Board of the Town of Macedon held May 26, 2011 at the Town Offices, 32 Main
Street in the Village of Macedon, was called to order by Supervisor William
Hammond at 7:30 P.M.

RESOLUTION NO. 106 (11) PEASE – EXPANSION OF NONCONFORMING USE APPLICATION REFERRED TO PLANNING
RESOLVED the Town Board refers the Scott R. Pease application for an expansion of a nonconforming use at 590 Frey Road per Town Code Section 135-165 to the Planning Board for their review and comments.

RESOLVED the Town Board schedules a public hearing on June 23, 2011 at 7:45 p.m. to hear public comment on the Scott R. Pease application for a special permit for an expansion of a nonconforming use at 590 Frey Road as per Town Code Section 135-165.

RESOLVED the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise for an anticipated Highway Employee vacancy per Highway Superintendent’s specifications.

RESOLVED the Supervisor is authorized to sign said contract with Empire Natural Gas.

The Blue Star Award dedication ceremony will be held at the Town Complex on June 14, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.
Wayne County Department of Aging & Youth notified the Town the 2011 state aid was reduced by 25%. Macedon’s Recreation program will be reduced from $1,709 to $1,299.
The State Office of Real Property Tax Services established a tentative 2011 State equalization rate of 100% for Macedon.
Highway Superintendent Richard Roets reported his department has started working on Hance Road.
RESOLVED the Board enters Executive Session at 7:45 p.m. to discuss litigation.
