TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

January 7, 2019

PRESENT: Chairman Doug Allen, members Kevin Rooney, Greg Whitney, Mert Bartels, Suzanne Airy, Mark McEwen and Tom Morrison. Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Brandi Schutt. Absent was Town Councilman David McEwen.

Chairman Allen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to waive the reading of the legal notice, seconded by Mark McEwen. All in favor; motion carried.

PB-17-18 – Romig (Dunlap) – Macedon Center Road

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to open the public hearing, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

No one present to speak in favor or against.

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to close the public hearing, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

PB-19-18 – Guarno (Kunzer) – 3096 Wiedrick Road

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to open the public hearing, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; motion carried.

No one present to speak in favor or against.

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to close the public hearing, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS:

PB-17-18 – Romig (Dunlap) – Macedon Center Road

Town Engineer Scott Allen explained that the applicant was approved through the County as well as the Zoning Board but will still have to go through the Town Board in order to obtain a special use permit.

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to issue a negative declaration on SEQRA, seconded by Mert Bartels. All in favor; motion carried.

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to grant final site plan approval, seconded by Mert Bartels. All in favor; motion carried.

PB-19-18 – Guarno (Kunzer) – 3096 Wiedrick Road

Town Engineer Scott Allen reminded the board that the applicant would like to split the property and convert existing barn into a residence.

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to issue a negative declaration on SEQRA, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; motion carried.

Motion made by Kevin Rooney to grant final subdivision and site plan approval, seconded by Suzanne Airy. All in favor; motion carried.

MINUTES:

A motion to approve the 12-03-18 minutes was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; minutes approved.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
