PRESENT:  Chairman Doug Allen and members Suzanne Airy, Mert Bartels, Mark McEwen, Tom Morrison, Kevin Rooney and Greg Whitney.  Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Susan Bush.  Absent was Town Councilman David McEwen.


Chairman Allen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.




PB-10-15 – Geoca Homes – Pheasant Run Section I Extension – Spragbrook & Tanaberry Circles – 5-lot realty subdivision & residential site plans – SEQR – Town Engineer Allen explained that the Dept. of Health has advised him that according to their regulations, this action for a five-lot subdivision with site plans should have been a Type I action using the long-form SEQR.  Therefore, a motion was made by Greg Whitney, seconded by Kevin Rooney, to rescind the previous negative SEQR declaration made on 10-12-15.  All in favor; motion carried.  A motion was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mark McEwen, for a negative SEQR declaration on this Type I action for Geoca Homes, five-lot realty subdivision & residential site plans, having found no environmental impacts through a review of the Full Environmental Assessment Form.  All in favor; motion carried.




PB-01-16 – Clark – Route 350 – Residential site plan – Log-in – Applicant received preliminary/final one-lot subdivision approval and sketch site plan approval in 2009 (PB-15-09), but elected not to go any further at that time.  They would now like to complete the process for final site plan approval.




Z-01-16 – Wolcott – 2449 Magog Road – Area Variance – Sections 135-61-B-3 & B-5 – Size & location of pole barn – A motion for a positive referral was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Tom Morrison.  All in favor; motion carried.


Z-02-16 – Staples – 1146 Route 31 – Area Variance – Sections 135-189-E, 190-B & C – Number, size & extension for building-mounted signs – A motion for a positive referral was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Greg Whitney.  All in favor; motion carried.




Change of Meeting Schedule – By Local Law, the Town Board has modified the Town Code to allow the Planning Board meeting dates to be set at the Chairman’s discretion.  In order to better accommodate the County Planning Board deadlines, meeting dates will be moved to the 1st & 3rd Mondays instead of the 2nd & 4th with the submission dates adjusted accordingly.  The Town Engineer & Board Clerk will develop a draft schedule for the Board’s review.


Wayne County Planning Board – It was noted that the Town of Macedon still needs a representative on the County Planning Board.




A motion to approve the 12-14-15 minutes was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; minutes approved.




A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Suzanne Airy.  All in favor; meeting adjourned at 8:03 p.m.
