TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

June 8, 2015

 

 

PRESENT:  Chairman Doug Allen, members Suzanne Airy, Mert Bartels, Tom Morrison, Kevin Rooney and Greg Whitney.  Also present were Town Councilman David McEwen and Board Clerk Susan Bush.  Absent were Mark McEwen and Town Engineer Scott Allen.

 

Chairman Allen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

PB-05-15 – Pulcini/Polle – Walworth Road – One-lot realty subdivision – Log-in – This is a one-lot realty subdivision for transfer of property between neighbors.

 

ZBA REFERRALS:

 

Z-03-15 – Weaver – 1251 Victor Road – Area Variance – Section 135 Schedule I – Front setback for garage addition – Applicant would like to build a 12 ft. addition on the front of his garage.   A motion for a positive referral was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Mert Bartels.  All in favor (McEwen absent); motion carried.

 

Z-04-15 – Chase – 2051 Spruce Run Road – Area Variance – Section 135 Schedule I – Side setback for accessory structure – Applicant would like to locate a pole barn 10 ft. instead of the required 15 ft. from the side property line – A motion for a positive referral was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Greg Whitney.  All in favor (McEwen absent); motion carried.

 

Z-05-15 – Minguela – 2835 Route 350 – Area Variance – Section 135-61-B-3 – Size of accessory structure – Applicant would like to build a pole barn larger than allowed by Code – A motion for a positive referral was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Suzanne Airy.  All in favor (McEwen absent); motion carried.

 

MINUTES:

 

A motion to approve the 05-11-15 minutes was made by Greg Whitney, seconded by Mert Bartels, with a correction of the clerical error in the time Mr. Rooney entered the meeting (7:36 p.m. not 8:36 p.m.).  All in favor (McEwen absent); minutes approved.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Suzanne Airy.  All in favor; meeting adjourned at 8:02 p.m.
