TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

December 8, 2014

 

 

PRESENT:  Chairman Doug Allen, members Suzanne Airy, Mert Bartels, Mark McEwen, Tom Morrison, Kevin Rooney and Greg Whitney.  Also present were Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Susan Bush.  Absent was Town Councilman David McEwen.

 

Chairman Allen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

*PB-16-14 – Bills Farm – 851 & 985 Route 31F – Three (3) lot realty subdivision – Log-in – Michael Greene of Greene Land Surveying was present on behalf of the applicant.  He explained this is a large farm (281+ acres) with two (2) houses.  The proposed subdivision will split the houses from the farm land.  The Board requested Mr. Greene clarify whether or not there is a drainage easement along an existing ditch (Parcel B).  A motion for negative SEQR declaration was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Tom Morrison.  All in favor; motion carried.  A motion was made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Tom Morrison, to approve the three (3) lot subdivision, contingent upon Wayne County Planning Board approval.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

PB-17-14 – Greene Property Management, LLC – Victor Road – Three (3) lot realty subdivision & residential site plans – Log-in & sketch – Michael Greene was present to explain his request.  The proposed subdivision/site plans will create three (3) wooded lots overlooking Ganargua Creek.  A motion to grant sketch plan approval was made by Tom Morrison, seconded by Mark McEwen.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

MINUTES:

 

A motion to approve the 11-10-14 minutes was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Suzanne Airy.  All in favor; minutes approved.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

 

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Suzanne Airy.  All in favor; meeting adjourned at 7:44 p.m.
