TOWN OF MACEDON

PLANNING BOARD

November 8, 2010

PRESENT: Vice Chairman Mert Bartels, members Suzanne Airy, Mark McEwen, Tom Morrison, Kevin Rooney and Greg Whitney. Also present were Town Councilman David McEwen, Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Susan Bush. Absent was Chairman Doug Allen.

Vice Chairman Bartels called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

NEW BUSINESS:

PB-11-10 – Pulcini (Rudovitz) – Kittering/West Walworth Roads – Residential site plan – Sketch – Present were applicant David Pulcini, Jr., and contractor David Pulcini, Sr. This plan is for a single-family residence and accessory pole barn on 6.1± acres on the southwest corner of Kittering & West Walworth Roads. The driveway will be off Kittering Road. Suzanne Airy questioned the size of the driveway culvert to be installed (18”) due to the amount of water it will have to handle. Town Engineer Allen will refer the matter to Highway Supervisor Roets for review. It was noted there were no trees shown on the plan, and Code requirements were reviewed. Mr. Pulcini, Sr., stated they intend to build a shallow berm, with trees, along West Walworth Road. Required plantings will need to be shown on the final plan. The applicant asked if the proposed pole barn could be built prior to the house. The Town Engineer responded that the barn could be included as a part of the residential building permit. A motion to grant sketch plan approval was made by Tom Morrison, seconded by Kevin Rooney. All in favor; motion carried.

PB-12-10 – Keller – 815 Quaker Road – One-lot realty subdivision

MINUTES:

A motion to approve the 10-11-10 minutes was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Greg Whitney. All in favor; minutes approved.

ADJOURNMENT:

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Suzanne Airy, seconded by Kevin Rooney. All in favor; meeting adjourned at 7:58 p.m.
