PLANNING BOARD

August 14, 2006

 

 

PRESENT:  Chairman Doug Allen, members Suzanne Airy, Mert Bartels, Brian Gagne, Mark McEwen and Kevin Rooney.  Also present were Councilman Ken Nawrocki, Town Engineer Scott Allen and Board Clerk Susan Bush.  Member Tom Morrison was absent.

 

Chairman Allen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.  Motion made by Mark McEwen, seconded by Brian Gagne, to waive reading the legal notice as it appeared in the Times.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

 

PB-08-06 – Uetz/Lawrence – Route 350  - Single-family residential site plan - Motion made by Brian Gagne, seconded by Kevin Rooney, to open the public hearing.  All in favor; motion carried.  David Matthews, Matthews Consulting, and Kurt Uetz were present to speak for this application.  There was no one else to speak for or against this application.  Motion made by Brian Gagne, seconded by Kevin Rooney, to close the public hearing.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

PB-10-06 – Halsey/Pulcini – 1673 Walworth Road – Realty subdivision – Motion made by Brian Gagne, seconded by Kevin Rooney, to open the public hearing.  All in favor; motion carried.  There was no one present to speak for or against this application.  Motion made by Brian Gagne, seconded by Kevin Rooney, to close the public hearing.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

PB-08-06 – Uetz/Lawrence – Route 350 – Single-family residential site plan – Chairman Allen recused himself from action on this piece of business due to a conflict of interest.  Vice Chairman Mert Bartels then led the discussion.  Dave Matthews, Matthews Consulting, reviewed the site plan.  Driveway permit has been received from NYS DOT.  There are no problems with sight distances.  Motion made by Brian Gagne, seconded by Kevin Rooney, for negative SEQR declaration.  All in favor; motion carried.  Motion to grant preliminary & final residential site plan approval made by Mark McEwen, seconded by Suzanne Airy.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

Chairman Allen resumed his duties for the remainder of the meeting.

 

PB-10-06 – Halsey/Pulcini1673 Walworth Road – Realty subdivision - This is a transfer of 2.64 acres between relatives (Pulcini to Halsey) who have adjoining properties.  Mr. Halsey will combine transferred property to his existing parcel.  Motion made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Brian Gagne, for negative SEQR declaration.  All in favor; motion carried.  Motion made by Kevin Rooney, seconded by Brian Gagne, to grant preliminary & final realty subdivision.  All in favor; motion carried.

 

 

MINUTES:

 

Motion made by Mert Bartels, seconded by Suzanne Airy, to approve the 7-24-06 minutes.  All in favor; minutes approved.
