TOWN BOARD REFERRAL:

Todd's Towing 2938 County Line Road Special Use Permit ApplicantTodd Kaplin has an option to purchase a residence on 4.8 acres. He would like to build a pole barn on the property for the storage and maintenance of his tow trucks. Barn will be approximately 40' x 80', store 4-5 trucks and be located behind the residence. There is vacant land on either side of the parcel with muckland/farmland to the rear. No towed/damaged vehicles will be stored on the premises. Board members had concerns regarding placement of the barn doors and fencing to shield the view. Planning Board gave a positive recommendation with the request the barn doors be placed on the rear (east) of the building and adequate fencing be provided to shield the view.

ZBA REFERRALS:

When the final survey was done, it was discovered a bump-out on the building is 1.7' within the setback (73.3 ft. vs. 75 ft. required).
